Dear Arrow Parents,

We are very excited about the 2019-20 school year and want to thank you for being a part of the Arrow Charter School System. We have communicated with you about the Texas Workforce Solution Funds for possible financial support as Arrow plans to launch a comprehensive After School Program called ARROW LEAP at the Houston campuses. We were initially advised in the Spring the anticipated wait time was 2-3 months however we were recently informed the funds might not be available for financial recipients for up to one year or more. We urge you to still apply if you haven’t already to start the process and respond quickly to Workforce Solutions when contacted to ensure funds can be secured at the earliest possible time for your family.

Federal assistance for parents was part of our program plan for supporting working families to receive free or reduced rate tuition for an after-school program. Due to the above, Arrow Academy wants to still honor the promise to provide for an after school program to our Houston campuses. Therefore, we are excited to offer an extended learning day opportunity for students with a fun, enriching and academic atmosphere while providing accessible and affordable childcare for parents on our campuses after the school day ends. The program is designed to provide encouragement, reinforcement, and support with work and skills that students have learned throughout the day.  It also includes a free meal, assistance with homework, individual tutoring, character education, creative and fine arts, and physical activities.

Tuition Cost will $280 monthly ($70/week)

The school year will officially begin on Monday, August 19, 2019 and our Afterschool Program will begin on this day. The program will operate from 3:30 – 6pm on all Arrow school days.

This program is self-funded therefore participation and compliance with payment guidelines will be necessary for a successful implementation. If you would like your child to participate, please submit the short registration form found on our website or you pick up a form at school after August 1. Please have all applications returned by August 12. Note: If you have already completed a form online at Arrow for the Workforce Solutions program this spring or summer, just let us know and we can use that information instead of requiring you to complete a new form.
